The son of an Italian mother and an Austrian father was born in Innsbruck in 1992 and was lucky being raised bilingual. In an early age his musical talent and his huge enthusiasm for singing became obvious. Since his age of three he was taught in playing the violin and the piano and still during his childhood he played several parts in productions of the Tyrolian State Theatre. During his schooldays he performed regularly at school concerts and played a part in the short film EISLAND. He gained further experience in acting and show skills as a member of the Youth Theatre Innsbruck and as a participant of several casting shows such as Kiddy Contest and others.

When he was eleven years old he began to write his first own songs and since then he’s working on developing his own personal style. Today he is writing, composing, arranging and singing his own songs and was able to establish as an upcoming artist.

After finishing civilian service he decided to move to Vienna for his musical entertainment studies at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. During his studies he took part in several productions in the Theater in der Josefstadt, at the Bühne Baden and in Vienna’s Metropol. In June 2016 he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction subsequently followed by playing the main part in Footloose at the Musicalsommer Amstetten. Furthermore he launched his single Like It Is through which he gained the attention of ORF talentscout Eberhard Forcher. While staying in Los Angeles in summer 2016 together with international songwriters and producers he got inspired for a range of new songs.

With his song Running on Air Nathan Trent was successful at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, and shortly after this he opened the Life Ball 2017 with his song Higher Love.
