Juanjo Mosalini was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. As an interpreter, composer and teacher, he has been a highly recognised ambassador of the bandoneon for 30 years. He not only shines in Argentina, but also on an international scale. Juanjo Mosalini launched his international career at the age of 18 as one of the rare bandoneon players to regularly perform as a soloist at, for example, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Academy St. Cecilia of Rome. He has also participated in many film scores alongside Gabriel Yared for WINGS OF COURAGE by Gabriel Yared and Jean-Jacques Annaud, as well as for Eric Serra for LEON by Luc Besson. Juanjo Mosalini has also created ensembles and is an active bandoneon teacher.
